THE CHALLENGE
With no new Bluey episodes on the horizon, BBC Studios needed a fresh way to reconnect to existing fans and invite more families into the show’s ecosystem during a peak family season.
THE SOLUTION
We welcomed them in—literally—with Bluey’s Aussie Christmas Sand Globe. Inspired by the holiday spidoes themselves, the real-life snow globe brought the warmth of an Australian beach Christmas to cold-weather Chicago and Buffalo, with themed games, activities, photo moments and keepsakes that made the world of Bluey tangible.
THE RESULTS
The pop-up gave families a new Bluey story to step into, extending character love beyond the screen and creating a joyful seasonal contrast built for participation and sharing.
